Karen Vaughn welcomes Sister Souljah

Listen today in the 1pm hour to hear my exclusive interview with Sister Souljah about her new best seller, Midnight: A Gangster Love Story.
Saturday I had a chance to attend Sister Souljah's book signing at the African-American Research Library in Fort Lauderdale. Over 200-hundred sisters and brothers came out to support her new novel, Midnight: A Gangster Love Story. We all had a good time vibin' with Sister Souljah. I like to call her the voice of truth.

Cheryl Underwood Interview

Where in the World is Cheryl Underwood? This weekend she is in Miami at the Improv-Coconut Grove. She called into my radio show today

and we had a ball. I love Cheryl because she speaks the truth! We talked about early voting, her support for Barack, her quest for a good man and of course, her performance. I'm going to try upload the interview soon. Until then, watch Cheryl on The View last Friday.

Actor Lamman Rucker with Karen Vaughn

When we saw actor Lamman Rucker play Sheriff Troy in Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married” we were all infatuated. Sheriff Troy was the perfect man...loyal and fine. One every Working Diva wished she had on her arm. Lamman Rucker stopped by my radio show at Miami’s HOT 105 for a one on one interview. He is truly amazing. More than a handsome face, he holds a Masters in Education. He is smart, witty and all about community! Check him out in the August issue of Essence Magazine and in the new movie “Ball Don’t Lie” coming to theaters in the Fall of 2008.
