Bachelor's Melissa Speaks Out

This season of the Bachelor has been one big roller coaster ride. First Melissa then Molly... what was this guy thinking! This is the kind of thing that makes a girl go all Jazmine Sullivan and "Break his Windows!!!"

Today Melissa Rycroft appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show and talked about the ordeal for the first time about how Jason really hurt her and how she felt when she found out he was dating Molly.

Rycroft says "it was pretty immediate" after the finale that Mesnick realized he didn't want to be with her.

"Once we got back, we both kind of sat in the real world, and we were talking about how [our relationship] was different," she says. "He kind of gave up, and I couldn't understand why at the time. Now I do - because I think there was someone else involved."

"And that is where my feelings of betrayal came in," she goes on. "I knew on the night After the Final Rose [aired], I wasn't getting dumped. We had already ended the relationship and that was mutual."

"I repeatedly asked him, 'Is Molly involved in anything?' And when they moved up the taping of After the Final Rose, I was going, 'Why did we move the taping up? What's going on?'"
"I asked Jason, 'Am I going to be blind-sided by anything? Is there anything you want to tell me?' And he said, 'No, gosh no.' And the second I went out on that stage, he goes, 'P.S. it is Molly.' And I went, 'Bastard!'"

Even though Mesnick initially denied he was dating Malaney, Rycroft says she had a feeling.
"Being a girl, you get that feeling," she says. "Anybody that's been cheated on, you know. And being a woman, I got that feeling, because he just backed away from me, and I knew he had contacted her."

"There had been at least one contact that I knew about, where he was 'checking on her,' and so it was just in the back of my mind. I would just casually ask, 'Are you talking to her? Have you talked to her? Tell me, just be honest."

"He kept saying no," Rycroft adds.

Rycroft says she and Mesnick exchanged e-mails "right after we filmed After the Final Rose."
"I instigated it ... and wish I hadn't," she says. "I felt like I needed to apologize for getting that angry with him, but at the same time, I said, 'I hope you know why I got that mad.' We weren't talking at that point, so it was my way off saying, 'This is my closure ... Don't reply back.'"
Asked if she could ever be friends with Mesnick or Malaney, Rycroft says, "No."

"Jason and Molly don't quite have the characteristics of [people] I would want to be friends with," she says. "On a level, they both did betray me. I understand it was a break-up, and I'm not mad about that. We all get broken up with, but to be lied to...."

Rycroft says she is moving on and is even dating a new guy named Ty (though she declined to reveal any more details).

"Because of the privacy and everything going on, we haven't really been able to explore a new relationship, but now that everything is over, I'm so excited," she says. "I've known him for two years and kind of done the dating on-and-off. He has been my biggest rock and supporter throughout this whole process. He's become my best friend."

When asked about her style she says, “First and foremost, I wear what I love. That’s what women have to focus on: what makes them happy and what makes them feel comfortable and beautiful. If I can have any impact, I want women to feel good about themselves and have fun with fashion.” (virtual hi-five) We here you Michelle!

UPDATE: Chris Brown to lose Endorsement Deals

Chris Brown can kiss his Wrigley's and MILK endorsements good-bye. The both companies haves pulled his Ad Campaigns.
See what happens when you can't keep your hands to yourself. Just because your step-father beat you as a child does not give you the right to allegedly beat up your girlfriend. He could get 10 years behind bars for this...was the agruement really worth it? Naw...

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Wrigley says it’s suspending ad campaigns featuring Chris Brown as its spokesman for Doublemint gum.
The company stopped short of saying they will drop the troubled R&B star completely.
A company statement expresses concern about what it calls “serious allegations made against Chris Brown.” He was arrested Sunday night for an alleged battery on a woman, and canceled his Grammy performance.
Wrigely said it would suspend any current advertising or any related marketing until the situation is resolved, adding that the 19-year-old should be “afforded the same due process as any citizen.”

Halle Berry Covers Essence

Halle Berry looks stunning on the March cover of Essence Magazine. This makes her 7th. The Oscar winning actress and new mom opens up in the issue on motherhood, love, and her forthcoming movie she produced, "Frankie and Alice."

Take a look inside the pages:
On dating a White man:
"I tried Black men. I tried," she wails in a mock southern accent. "I married two Black men. You know I tried." She laughs again before making clear that "I don't hold all Black males responsible because of the two bad eggs I got. I even dated Black men after my last divorce, but this is just where I found love."

On her longevity in Hollywood:
"Setbacks energize me. They make me realize that I have more work to do."

On being a mom:
"I thought I knew love before, but I never knew anything like this."

On going bald for a role:
"I am shaving it off,'' she says. "I know. Here comes the controversy, but I have to do it for the role and it will grow back - I hope."

Rihanna Cancels Grammy Performance; Chris Brown Sought By Police

In what may or may not be related news, ET confirms that pop singer Rihanna will not be performing at tonight's Grammys following sustaining a bruised face in what sources called a car accident.

Coincidentally, Rihanna's rumored boyfriend Chris Brown is under investigation for alleged domestic violence felony battery related to an alleged attack on a woman in a car who sustained what police call "visible injuries."

Sources at the Grammys tell ET that Rihanna's face is slightly bruised and no announcement has been made as to who will be taking her place on stage. "We have just been informed that Rihanna will not be attending tonight's 51st Annual Grammy Awards. We're sorry she is unable to join us this evening," The Recording Academy's statement reads.

Related to the Brown investigation, police say Brown and the woman were in a vehicle in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles when, following an argument, the woman was allegedly injured, naming Brown as her attacker. When police arrived, they only found the woman; Brown had left. The Associated Press reported Sunday afternoon that police were still looking for the male R&B star.

Police say they received a 911 call related to the incident which occurred around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday. The LAPD is investigating the incident.

Rihanna and Brown were just photographed together at a Pre-Grammy party on Saturday night. (source: Entertainment Tonight)

We have to wait and see if Bey takes him up on his offer. Until then, you can check her out in "Obsessed" opposite Idris Elba in theaters April 24th.

Mary J. Blige on Getting Fit

The music superstar reveals her 6 secrets for transforming mind, body, and soul:

Embrace exercise, even if you hate it. "I do not love it," Blige says. "I appreciate what it does for me. And I wish there was a pill you could take that could do everything that is in that gym." But she finds that putting in her time on a hard cardio workout pays off later on stage with better endurance and stamina. "All that stuff that you hate that you do, it pushes you further," she says. "It makes me feel like a rocket, almost."

Set realistic goals. Blige dropped 9 pounds in three months and is trying to lose another 10 to get her 5'5'' frame down to 125, which she thinks is her ideal weight. To get there, she sets a daily calorie limit of 1,500 and tries to work out five times a week. That's a very realistic goal, and a realistic calorie total for someone as active as Blige, says Bonnie Taub-Dix, RD, a New York dietitian who often helps celebrities deal with weight issues. "She's avoiding the mistake many people make, dropping calories below 1,200, which makes it next to impossible to fulfill your nutritional needs," Taub-Dix says.

Celebrate small victories. To motivate herself, Blige bought a pair of too-small size 28 jeans and dubbed them her "goal jeans." She'd try them on, and they wouldn't fit. She admits to feeling disgusted with herself. Blige promised herself, "If I can't fit in those jeans soon, I am giving them away." But she didn't give up. And within a few months, they fit. "I was so happy!" she says. "Goal" clothing is good motivation, Taub-Dix says. She tells clients to hang that too-tight dress they are dying to get into in plain view. "If you live by yourself, hang it in the kitchen, near the refrigerator."

Inspire yourself. Blige's personal trainer is Gregg Miele, a New York City-based personal trainer who's also worked with artist Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter, actor Chloe Sevigny, Sports Illustrated model Lujan Fernandez, and other celebrities trying to fit a regular exercise routine into a hectic, globe-trotting schedule. Miele posts motivational sayings in front of Blige's treadmill so she can read them as she works out. Her favorite: "What you eat in private shows up in public." Miele has other tricks, including giving his clients a black wristband stamped with "self discipline." His clients see them constantly throughout their day and are reminded to follow good health habits, whether that means saying no to dessert or making it to the gym.

Acknowledge your weaknesses. And focus on your strengths, she adds. Blige loves7 salt and also has a wicked sweet tooth. "The only sweets I hate are black jelly beans and black licorice." But thankfully, she also loves vegetables --cucumbers, tomatoes, asparagus, broccoli, okra, corn, zucchini, spinach, and cabbage. "Raw, cooked, it doesn't matter." And she makes sure to drink plenty of water. She also tries hard to not get down on herself. Her trainer helps her see weaknesses in a whole new light when he tells her and other clients, "Weaknesses are goals to work on in the long-term."

Appreciate your uniqueness. On Blige's new album, one song is called "Work That." The premise, she says, is this: "Whatever I have, I am going to make it work for me. I don't have what everyone else has, but whatever I have I am going to make it work." Miele heartily agrees this is a good attitude when working out, too. Because he works often with celebrities, he sometimes hears from other clients that they want so-and-so's great arms or another star's awesome abs. He advises them, as Blige has learned, to focus on their great or unique body parts -- and make improving the other parts long-term goals.
