Etta James Only Kidding?

Etta James' war on words this week were enough to make us all yell like Macaulay Culkin in "Home Alone." Honesty, did Etta James have to rant about President Obama and Beyonce because she wasn't the one to sing "At Last" at the Neighborhood Inaugural Ball on January 20th? Etta James should be showing President Obama and Beyonce love and her publicist the door. Weren't there like ten Inaugural Balls With "At Last" playing at all of them? (we know because we watched) Couldn't Etta James' camp book her at one of them? Someone should have been on the phone the second it was announced that Beyonce would sing during the first dance of the newly elected President and First Lady. This isn't' the first time Etta missed out on a grand opportunity.

Remember when Trisha and Ryan from ABC's "The Bachelorette" got married? "At Last" was the theme of the reality series. During every promo for the two weeks leading up to airing of the wedding "At Last" was ingrained in our mines. So much so one would have thought Etta James would sing the song at the wedding. NOT! When the show aired....no Etta. Looks like her camp dropped the ball twice. Someone isn't on their A game. Etta James and Beyonce are two women generations of us adore. This has to be embrassing to Etta to say the least. Etta spoke with the New York Daily News to say she was only joking. But does anyone believer her? Read the entire story here.
